2011 Village Representative Election: Overall turnout rate on January 16
The third polling day of 2011 Village Representative Election ended at 7pm today (January 16).
A total of 214 candidates from 60 villages contested for 111 seats, including 75 Indigenous Inhabitants Representatives (IIR) and 36 Resident Representatives (RR), in the IIR and RR Elections.
A total of 12,997 out of the 19,695 registered voters cast their votes, representing an overall turnout of 65.99 per cent.
