Night Dragon Parade@Eastern District
Date: May 11, 2024Venue: Eastern District Cultural Square, Shau Kei Wan Main Street East and Factory Street Playground
Hong Kong's longest luminous "Night Dragon" ever, which is 328-metre long, parade to Shau Kei Wan Main Street East, attracting a lot of residents and tourists. The area is filled with joyful atmosphere.
The Secretary for Home and Youth Affairs, Miss Alice Mak and the Director of Home Affairs, Mrs Alice Cheung preside the kick-off ceremony of "Night Dragon Parade@Eastern District".
More than 300 residents of the Eastern District dress up in unique dragon-style costumes, and successfully create a Guinness world record for "The most people wearing inflatable costumes" for the Eastern District.
