Yau Tsim Mong District Anti-Crime Monopoly Launching Ceremony cum Experience Day

Addressing the ceremony, the Deputy Secretary for Justice, Mr Cheung Kwok-kwan, says in his speech that the successful enactment of the Safeguarding National Security Ordinance would bring safety to Hong Kong.
The Commissioner of Police, Mr Siu Chak-yee, says in his speech that he hoped to inculate the knowledge of fraud prevention among young people at an early stage through "Anti-crime Monopoly".

The Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr Chan Kwok-ki, the Secretary for Home and Youth Affairs, Miss Alice Mak, and other officiating guests offer the "first incense" at Yaumatei Tin Hau Temple.
There was a variety of entertaining programmes, including performances by artists and singers, Lunar New Year dramas, classic TV show games, sharing of fortunes, etc. The event was well received by the public.

There was a variety of performances on the day of the event. In addition to the members of Yau Tsim Mong District Council taking to the stage to introduce the district's services to the public in the form of an entertaining drama, there were also youth performances such as singing and dancing by popular singers, ethnic minorities and choirs, competitive cheerleading, traditional Chinese drumming, break dancing, ballet, wrestling and busking, etc. The event was well-received by the public.

Students of Newman Catholic College participated in the "Prison Mission" in Ma Hang Prison on December 7, learning more about the everyday work of the correctional staff.
Students of S.K.H. All Saints' Middle School participated in the "The Reflective Path" event on December 8, which was designed based on the actual situation in prison. The event helped deepen students' understanding of the criminal justice system and correctional work in Hong Kong.

Yau Tsim Mong District Office held in mid-April its first Yau Tsim Mong District Multicultural Forum, where representatives of different ethnic groups, including African, Bangladeshi, Indian, Nepalese, Pakistani and Sri Lankan, were invited to share their everyday lives in the district.
The representatives all agreed with the District Office's direction of promoting a more culturally inclusive Yau Tsim Mong District, while considering that collaboration on certain aspects should continue. At their suggestion, the District Office will invite other government departments to organise activities suitable for different ethnic groups at Yau Tsim Mong Multicultural Activity Centre (MAC).
At the forum, the District Office also summarised its enhanced efforts in providing information and assistance to ethnic minorities in areas such as epidemic prevention and fire safety over the past year, and mentioned that it will organise more community sports activities for all ethnic groups when the pandemic subsides.
