Responsibilities :
- Reviewing and formulating policy on licensing regimes of hotels and guesthouses, clubs, and bedspace apartments
- Overseeing the operation of the Office of the Licensing Authority (OLA) in licensing and law enforcement matters
- Overseeing the implementation of HAD’s Singleton Hostel Programme
- Formulating policies on District Services and Community Care Teams (Care Teams)
- Co-ordinating the selection and monitoring the overall implementation of Care Teams in 18 districts
- Taking forward the territory-wide publicity campaigns for Care Teams
- Co-ordinating collaboration initiatives between Care Teams and other bureaux/departments
- Overseeing the development of IT platform for Care Teams
